Until One Day You Found Your Feet.

What happend to bringing Xanga back? I'm so inconsistant.

Treaty of Paris's new album "Sweet Dreams, Sucker!" is in stores now. I really suggest you pick it up. I'm so proud of it its annoying.

Lately... I've been so busy. I dont even have a job, nor do I go to school. I am looking very hard for a job though. But I'm keeping busy with Street Teaming it up for Island Records. I have five shows in the next five days to go to. Crazy, huh?

You know I like to randomly update and randomly put up pictures, so here are some pictures.

How 'bout I Just Call This One Quits?

OMG! XANGA!

I havent even read through my old stuff yet. I'm kind of scared at what a nerd I was back when I used this thing. But you know what?

I'M BRINGING XANGA BACK, YEAH!

It actually looks a bit more spiffy then I remember it. a lot more buttons and such.

Umm. Well there are really too many events in pictures to cover if I wanted to go all the way back to the last time I updated. So I will cover the major points and then end with some pictures of last weekend.

Major points since October of LAST YEAR.
- The Treaty boys moved into a house together [everyone except Phil] that we have named the "Stained Glass Palace" of which we warmed with a lovely house party
- I took a road trip to Indiana with Kevin, Shannan, and Ryan.
- I had a lovely dinner with the Baum family that was probably the last time I've seen/hung out with them. :(
- I spent at least 3-5 nights a week at random concerts all over chicago [somtimes 2-3 different shows a night] passing out fliers for Treaty of Paris. I frooze my ass off but made friends with a lot of doormen and met a lot of poeple.
- I took Katie English and Shelia to see Quietdrive, Powerspace, the JV and June at Metro.
- TREATY OF PARIS headlined [and almost sold out] Metro for the second time with LUDO, AMSTERBAND, State and Madison, and The Honour Recital. It was the most amazing night ever, and I cried more than once. Dez, Cori, Polly and I stayed at the SGP afterwards and celibrated what an amazing night it was.
- THE BEARS WERE IN THE FUCKING SUPERBOWL!
- The Bears lost the fucking Superbowl :(
- Treaty of Paris took 2 months off from playing shows to write for the new record. In that time I made pie and went to their place for LOST dates and whatnot.
- Amsterband played at Schuba's. Dez, Vanna, Phil, Mike and I all went and it was a spendid show. Especially when they covered Such Great Hights.
- Treaty's first show back was with Jack's Mannequin at the House of Blues, where Andrew McMahon of Jacks/Something Corporate announced that they were the first signing to his new record label Airport Tapes and Records. Lots of hugging/tearing up commenced.
- Breaking the Band launched on q101.com/top
- I drove down to Urbana to see Last Fast Action, Treaty, and Amsterband and got caught behind a train that took 45 minutes to cross the tracks when I was .2 minutes away from the venue. So I missed LFA. But I did eat pizza with them downstairs, where they proceeded to try on my glasses.
- I took Nathon, Liz Smith, Katie English, and Devon to see The Academy Is... CD release at Metro where we ran into my drunken cousin who also ended up on a video on TAI..'s website. Treaty opened as well.
- Stephanie and I drove to Peoria and picked up Sarah Spencer and went to see Treaty of Paris and Motion City Soundtrack one last time before they left for LA for two months to record their new album. I also met Justin Pierre of MCS.
- Senior Banquet.
- I slept outside all night in a moon walk with Ashely, Jenny, and Devon
- I like, graduated and stuff.
- I moved out of  Lake Villa [never to see or speak to my father again] and moved into a lovely apartment in Chicago in the Lincolin Park area.
- We went to my cousin's wedding.

Which brings us to the last major thing that happened. Which was the boys [finally] came home from LA and we celebrated by having a party at the newly REnamed "Stained Glass Palace Hotel and Casino"

Which is what I will be posting pictures of.
Right, now.

I'm freezing right now.

Work went alright tonight. I was kind of off. I came home to get a letter from the bank saying I was overdrawn. Lovely. Now I have an extra 30 dollar charge that will come out of my next paycheck. fantastic.

I think I may go see Tristan and Isolde tonight with Leah. So, we'll see how that goes. Tomorrow I have a Starbucks date with Shannan and Dustin, so I am looking forward to that.

Shannan wrote me a really great poem. It went something like this...

Our hearts beat with the hope and faith
Of finding that special gem.
But what defines us,
Or makes you and me different
Is that of our attitude in our step,
The smile on our face,
And the poetry in our heart.
It seems that we become so eager to find our gem,
We often find the pains of impatience.
Casting our hearts in every which direction,
We become one of a kinds holding smiles
In a world showered by tears and heartbreak.
The beat in our heart is filled with that of faith and hope,
Of finding that true love.
Rest assured that we are flowers in a deserted waist land.
Our beauty, our hope will never go unnoticed.

I thought it was pretty cute.

Well, I'm going to go shower the work stink off of me.

I am pretty excited for Treaty of Paris, even though it is 2 weeks away. Its going to be fan frikkin tastic.

Nothing else is really new here. I think I may have pissed off Leah again, cos she just isn't acting normal. Maybe she's mad that I went and hung out with Kathy over the weekend instead of her. But the truth is... I really don't give a damn anymore. I'm not here to worry constantly that I am going to piss her off. I guess it just reaffirms my point that for some reason, I cant be good friends with girls. It always ends with some huge blowout and never talking to them again.

This is why my best friend in the world right now is Shannanagins. He's pretty much the best ever.

Last day of finals tomorrow. woot woot.

One day when I was about 12 years old I decided to ride my bike to a friends house.

When I got there her older sister was just getting home from school. Being the chippy cheerleader she was, she was dropped off by a car full of football player looking guys.

I was a lot taller than this girl, and again only 12 years old.

She told me short people were better because they can date tall and short guys. She said I would never get a date if I grew anymore. I went home and cried.
